The patient may qualify for this program if they are to become a permanent resident of Florida. Our Adult Cystic Fibrosis Team is committed to providing you with excellent care, following the current Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s treatment guidelines.We have Dr. Francisco Calimano and Dr. Daniel Layish as program co-directors. We have a team assembled to provide you with the best care possible. CFPG will attempt to schedule your appointment during our CF clinic. On that day you will meet the Adult CF Coordinator, CF Dietitian, CF Social worker and the physician’s medical assistants. You may also meet the social workers from Abilities of Florida. If you have been given a packet from your previous clinic please make sure that the Adult CF Coordinator receives it. During the clinic we will ask you what treatments and medications you are currently on. We may also ask you to perform a complete pulmonary function testing as well as review your airway clearing techniques. The dietitian will also review your diet, your weight and any other issues you may have.
