Asthma

  • 12 years of age or older with Asthma diagnosis
  • At least 1 asthma flare-up in the past year
  • Meet required criteria for current asthma therapy
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

 

Allergic Asthma

  • 12 years of age or older and have Allergic Asthma
  • Candidate for treatment with the drug Xolair
  • Access to Xolair through insurance or other source
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

 

Bronchiectasis

  • 18 years of age or older and have Bronchiectasis
  • History of 2 or more related flare-ups in the past 12 months
  • Not on supplemental oxygen
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

 

Chronic Illness (any)

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a chronic illness
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

 

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Cystic Fibrosis (CF)

Study #1

  • 18 years of age or older and have Cystic Fibrosis
  • Had Porcine-Derived Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement Therapy for a min. of 6 months
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

Study #2

  •  18 years of age or older and have Cystic Fibrosis
  • Positive for Pseudomonas Aeruginosa within 6 months prior to and at screening

Study #3

  • 18 years of age or older and have Cystic Fibrosis
  • Homozygous for the F508del-CFTR mutation, genotype to be confirmed
  • FEV >40% and <90%
  • Compensation for time will be available

 

Emphysema

  • 40 years of age or older with severe Emphysema
  • Have completed Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • Stopped smoking for at least 4 months or longer
  • Willing to abstain from smoking
  • Willing to have valves surgically placed within the lungs

 

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)

Study #1

  • Be 40 to 80 years of age with diagnosis of IPF for less than 4 years
  • Diagnosis by a high resolution CT or surgical lung biopsy
  • Compensation may be available for time or travel

Study #2

  • Be 40 years of age or older with IPF diagnosis within 5 years
  • High Resolution CT scan within past 6 months or during the screening period
  • Compensation may be available for time and travel

Study # 3

 

Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Willing to undergo a bronchoscopy for suspected or known ILD

 

Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)

Study #1

  • 18 to 80 years of age
  • Diagnosed with PAH by Right Heart Catheterization within past 3 months

Study #2

  • 18 years of age or older and newly diagnosed with PAH
  • Documented Right Heart Catheterization within 6 month
  • Never taken medications for PAH

Study #3

  • 18 years of age or older with PAH
  • Willing to start treatment with Opsumit       OR
  • Started Opsumit within past 3 weeks
